Cognitive assessment & training

Measure your mind.
Then actually train it.

32 scored questions place you in five cognitive areas. Those five numbers are not a certificate — they are what builds your training week, from 9 exercises and 29 lessons, one day at a time.

Counted from the database

The room you are walking into

924 people have finished the assessment here since 15 July 2026 — 597 of them in the last seven days. Every number in this section is a row count taken on 25 August 2026, not an estimate and not a marketing figure rounded up.

Where 924 finished runs landed

859095100105110115120

Nine runs in ten land between 106 and 119. The median is 114.

Unfinished attempts are left out. They rest on the floor of the scale and would build a spike nobody earned.

Which is why the total is not the interesting number

Speed is the weakest of the five areas for 53% of them.

Totals here cluster in a narrow band. The five areas do not — on average they run from 46 to 75 out of 100, and almost everyone has one that drags the rest. Your week opens on yours.

Three steps, and the third is the one that lasts

Most IQ sites end at the number. The number is the input here.

An e-mail and a password, or one tap with Google. No card is asked for and there is nothing to cancel.

  2. 2

    Sit the assessment

32 scored questions — pattern matrices, verbal and numerical reasoning, a memory span and two hands-on spatial puzzles. Median finished run is 10 minutes.

  3. 3

Train the weak area on a plan

Your five scores, your goal and the minutes you have build a seven-day week. Day 3 is a checkpoint; day 7 is a full retest against your own first run.

The five areas we score

Not a personality read. Five separate scores from 32 questions, each area carrying its own count, and each one able to come out low on its own.

questions per area

8

Logical

Rules inferred from examples: sequences, matrices, deductions.

7

Memory

Holding and replaying what was on screen a moment ago.

6

Speed

How fast correct answers arrive, not just whether they do.

6

Verbal

Meaning, analogy and relations between words.

5

Spatial

Turning, folding and fitting shapes in your head.

Seven days later, four things are different

None of them is “you got smarter”. All four can be checked, and one of them can come out worse — the report says so when it does.

  1. You find out which area is actually weak

Most people back the wrong one. Across the 924 finished runs here, Speed comes out lowest for 53% of them — and it is the area nobody suspects, because a wrong answer feels like a mistake and a slow right answer feels like nothing at all.

  2. A second measurement, not a feeling

Day 7 puts you back through the same 32 questions and lines the five new numbers up against your first five. Per area, not one blended total — and it can go down.

  3. A record that moves inside the week

Every exercise keeps your own best and the difficulty rung you reached, so progress is a number you beat rather than an evening you spent. Of the 95 finished sessions here so far, 31 beat that player's own previous best.

  4. A technique that outlives the week

The 29 written lessons hand over the mechanism itself — chunking, the mind palace, how attention decays, what the two systems are — so what you keep is not tied to one puzzle.

And this is what training one area looks like in the hand.

What training does, and what it does not

This category earned its reputation. Here is the line we hold — on the page, before you pay anything.

What it does

  • You get measurably better at what you train. That is near transfer, it is real, and it is what the personal bests on this page are made of.
  • A measured baseline and a retest on the same instrument tell you whether anything moved, instead of leaving you to feel it.
  • The lessons hand over the technique itself, which is the part that travels out of the app with you.

What nobody has shown

  • A general IQ lift that shows up at work or at school. Nobody has demonstrated it, and we are not going to be the first to claim it.
  • Anything clinical. This diagnoses nothing, treats nothing, and no result from it is medical advice.
  • A promise that your number goes up. Day 7 sometimes says it went down, and the report says that too.

A week built from your worst area, not from a catalogue

After the assessment you answer two questions — what you want to pull up, and how many minutes a day you actually have. Those two, plus your five scores, produce seven days of specific tasks. Not a shelf of exercises to choose from every evening: one card that says what today is.

  • Day 1 opens on your lowest-scoring area
  • Day 3 is a checkpoint on how that area moved
  • Day 7 is a full retest, and the week rebuilds from the new numbers

The account remembers, so you are competing with your own record

You are not ranked against strangers — but you are not alone here either: the whole room's curve is on this page, and your own five numbers sit somewhere on it. What is kept is yours, and it is what makes a second week different from a first one.

A personal best per exercise

One record each, with the highest difficulty rung you have reached — not one blended number that hides which exercise moved.

Every day you trained

Kept as dates, so three days in a week counts as three days and a six-session evening counts as one.

Which days of the plan you closed

A day closes when its tasks are done, and the week does not renumber itself behind you.

Your score, re-measured

Day 7 puts you back through a full assessment and compares it to your first run. It can go down; we show it either way.

About Real-IQ

Real-IQ is an online cognitive assessment. We build the test, the report that comes out of it and the training exercises that follow — and we run real-iq.net ourselves, with no third-party storefront in between. The assessment covers five areas: logical reasoning, spatial reasoning, memory, verbal reasoning and speed. It is an educational and entertainment product, not a clinical instrument: it diagnoses nothing, no psychologist administers or interprets it, and no result from it is medical, psychological or employment advice.

Operated by Oleksandr Bukovskyi. Everything on this site is written and maintained by a small independent team — questions reach a human at support@real-iq.net.

Questions people actually ask

How long does the assessment take?

32 scored questions. The median finished run is 10 minutes; there is no clock on the assessment as a whole, only on the two speed sections.

Do I have to pay to see my score?

No. Create a free account and the assessment, your score and the five-area profile are in it. Part of the library is reserved for the paid plan, which you choose inside your account — there is nothing to buy on this page.

What does the free account NOT include?

7 of the 9 exercises, three of the 4 courses and the seven-day training plan. They carry a visible lock rather than being hidden, so you always know what the upgrade is for.

Is this a clinical IQ test?

No. It is an educational and entertainment product. It diagnoses nothing, no psychologist administers or interprets it, and no result from it is medical, psychological or employment advice.

Can I use it on more than one device?

Yes. The account is reached from any browser at app.real-iq.net — progress, plan and badges follow the account, not the device.

Does the training actually change the score?

We do not promise that it will. What we do is measure you again on day 7 with a full assessment and show you both numbers, up or down. Exercise scores are yours to compare against yourself, not against a population.
